Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer: Spark in the Dark Collection Swatches & Review

**Press Sample**

I was so excited and totally surprised to receive an email from Julie at Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer offering me to review a few of her polishes from her new Spark in the Dark Collection.

Photo of bottles taken indoors with an OttLite.
I have three (3) BEGL polishes to share with you - Hypothermia, Never Danced Like This Before, & Counting Down Until I See You.

Hypothermia LE is a free gift with purchase of the entire set of Spark in the Dark Collection ONLY. Unfortunately, it will NOT be sold separately. It is a gorgeous purple holo with purple shimmers. It appears to have a dusty grayish purple appearance to it in certain lighting. I love everything about this polish!

Never Danced Like This Before is a beautiful navy holo with teal shimmers. It appears to have a linear and scattered holo effect making it extra sparkly.

Counting Down Until I See You is a light pink microglitter with accents of gunmetal and silver reflective beads. The reflective beads are heavier than normal glitters, so you may need to shake your bottle to mix them throughout. I don't usually wear pink, but this polish is a very pretty shade of pink and extremely sparkly.

|| Collection Notes ||

All photos shown are with base coat, two (2) coats of polish for full coverage and topcoat. No issues with application or formula.

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquers are designed to be opaque in one or two coats, so they may need to be thinned to your desired consistency.

*Photos taken outdoors in direct sunlight unless otherwise stated.

The Spark in the Dark Collection is set to release January 12, 2015 at 3:30 PM EST at Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer shop! The full set will cost $67 (full size bottles) | $37 (mini bottles), and the set will include all eight (8) bottles of polish (Hypothermia is only available with purchase of the full set). For individual full size bottles, the holographics and shifters will be $12 and the cremes, flakies, shimmers, glitters, and microglitters will be $8.50.  The individual mini bottles will cost $6 for the holographics and shifters and $5 for the cremes, flakies, shimmers, glitters, and microglitters.

Hahaha! I just KNEW I had to send you Hypothermia! You've been buying from me for so long and didn't have it, so I knew it needed to go into your stash ;)
