Welcome!

As my blog name states my name is Kimberly, but everyone calls me Kim :) I started my personal blog as a living journal for my son. I live in California with my husband of 24 years, our 14 year old son, and our Maltese - Lily.

I am a stay at home mom and I homeschool my son. He started off at Montessori (K-5th), but due to personal reasons we decided to choose homeschool. Now that he is in 8th grade, he currently attends an online school called Connections Academy. It has been a difficult 3 1/2 years trying different homeschool methods, but now that we have found Connections Academy I wouldn't change a thing...it was the best decision.

I enjoy being creative and one of my favorite hobbies is to paint my nails.  I have a LARGE collection of indie nail polishes. I prefer the independent brands over the mainstream brands.

I love the beach, wellness spas, yoga, everything organic, rock-n-roll, Ravi Shankar, and photography. I also love to travel; some of my favorite places to visit are the U.S. & British Virgin Islands and the Humboldt Redwoods.
